These are the Mini and Standard account. It is somewhat unusual that a broker does not offer a VIP account for all those who have the needed cash for such an account. The Mini and Standard accounts do not differ much as both offer same order executions and benefits, whereas the former requires a lower deposit and has a lower minimum lot size. The Mini account can be opened with a minimum deposit of $500, and a minimum 10,000 lot size. The Standard account might not be called a VIP account, but its price is certainly VIP-ish with a $5,000 minimum deposit requirement and a minimum lot size of 100,000. The leverage for both accounts is 1:100. The recent trend of providing ECN services along running dealing desks, took the market by storm and many Forex companies seized the opportunity to offer both services simultaneously.
